I'm new in the forum and in the city and sadly    I just speak a very little french, mais je suis en train d'apprendre   .

I was wandering if any of you is up for an international game session (english or italian), I know could be very complicated but this could be also a really interesting gamining experience!   

I'm a quite expierenced pathfinder/d&d3.5 DM but I'm also willing to try something else if someone wants to give it a try. I just want to play!   

So, anyone intersted?

Do you have a one shot or a module in mind ? I think that if you choose a one shot/module which has not been translated into French yet, you will find players ready for it.

What is your time table ? Friday night ? Others possibilities ?

With "one shot or Module" what do you mean? like pre-made adventure? like a Pathfinder adventure path? does "one shot" mean a 1session game?

I usually create everything by myself, I found that most of the adventure material is not very good and it's too hard to adapt to a group of players, it too constraining, if you know what i mean.

Most of the time I try to find out what my players find attractive and I try to build adventure and settings just for that. If it was necessary we used to make homerules to bend the system to our preference.

Nevertheless do you have a personal world or will it be in the official one ?

One last question : time table ? What are your possibilities ? Because of family constraints, most of the payers (starting with @Archi, the fluent Italian speaker) seems to be available on friday evening. There is also some opportunities on others days so it will be up to you.

I don't have much knowledge about Golarion (pathfinder setting) or Eberron, but I do know something about forgotten realms, I have plenty of personal worlds, I tend to make them on the spot. For a short advendure like this it's probably better to use a plain mid-magic fantasy world like greyhawk, but I think it's not really important.

I mean: if someone want to play an elf from a forgotten forest on the top of a dead volcano where all the elves praise the sun-god of destruction Hamletehethet    we can just put that on the map of the brand-new-world an go with it. Otherwise we can just settle the adventure in a old medium-size plain fantasy realm with forest on the north, mountains on the south a giant lake on the east and a cold icy desert up north.
I can make up the government, for example, as a long dinasty of knight kings with mages counselours.

what I want to say it's that I usually determine the flavour that we want from the world, and the I build it.

For example: do we want a high level magic world like eberonn? with magic powered trains and flyship?
do we want a low level magic world like Lord of the ring?
Do we want a steampunk like world?
do we want a world of despair and fear?
do we want a world where party of adventurers born everyday and the exploring dungeon is the dream of every kid?
etcetera.

I will wait to see what are the expectations of other players.

I have DD3.5 rules in english so it could help me a lot to play with those rules. But Pathfinder will work too considering the facts below.

I am ok for a mid-magic fantasy world but Golarion will work too.

A short adventure could be nice for a begining.

Meglio se fai il DM tu penso, visto che sei madrelingua. Il venerdì sera di solito è il momento che va meglio à tutti, basta trovare un giorno. Se non finiamo tardi posso pure il giovedi sera (quando non si gioca da Mass). Magari apri un doodle?
